1. Introduction

Welcome to PurposeLabs ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website purposelabsau.com and your purchase of products from our online store.

By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

• "Products" refers to peptides and related research materials sold through our website.
• "Customer" refers to any individual or entity purchasing products from PurposeLabs.
• "Research Use" means use in a controlled laboratory environment for scientific investigation purposes only.
• "Order" refers to a request to purchase products submitted through our website.

4. Eligibility

To purchase products from PurposeLabs, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a legitimate research purpose for the products
• Provide accurate and complete information during registration and checkout
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the purchase and use of research peptides

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and to cancel orders at our discretion if we believe these eligibility requirements are not met.

5. Products and Pricing

All product descriptions, specifications, and images are provided for informational purposes. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content is error-free.

Prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. We reserve the right to modify prices at any time without prior notice. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

Product availability is subject to change. We reserve the right to limit quantities and to discontinue products at any time.

6. Orders and Payment

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase products subject to these Terms and Conditions. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

We accept the following payment methods:

• Bank Transfer (EFT)
• Credit/Debit Cards (via secure payment gateway)

For bank transfers, orders will be processed once payment has been received and verified. Payment must be received within 7 days of placing the order, or the order may be cancelled.

All payments must be made in full before products are dispatched.

7. Shipping and Delivery

We ship to addresses within Australia only. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the size of your order.

Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only and are not guaranteed. Factors outside our control, including courier delays, weather events, and public holidays, may affect delivery times.

Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the shipping address provided. You are responsible for ensuring the delivery address is accurate and that someone is available to receive the package.

We are not responsible for packages lost or damaged after delivery confirmation or for delays caused by incorrect address information.

8. Returns and Refunds

Due to the nature of our products, we have a limited returns policy:

• Damaged or Incorrect Items: If you receive damaged or incorrect products, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. We will arrange a replacement or refund at our discretion.
• Quality Issues: If you believe a product does not meet our stated purity specifications, please contact us with details. We may request return of the product for analysis.
• Change of Mind: Due to the nature of research peptides and our inability to verify product integrity once dispatched, we do not accept returns for change of mind.

All approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 business days.

9. Rewards Program

PurposeLabs Rewards lets you earn points on your purchases, reach membership tiers based on your lifetime spend with us, and exchange points for discounts on future orders. This section applies whenever you take part in the program, and forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

Joining

The program is open to customers with a PurposeLabs account. Creating an account enrols you automatically. There is no fee and no separate sign-up.

• Points belong to the account, and an account belongs to one person. You may hold one account.
• Your account email address identifies you to the program, so keep it current.
• Orders placed without signing in do not earn points at the time. See "Purchases made before you had an account" below.

Earning points

Points are calculated on what you actually pay for goods: the order total including GST, after every discount has been applied, and excluding delivery charges.

• The base rate is 5 points per $1, rounded down to the whole point.
• Discounts reduce what you earn, because earning follows what you pay. A promotional code, a member discount or a redeemed reward all lower the amount points are calculated on.
• Delivery charges never earn points.
• Points are credited once your order is paid and moves into processing, not while it is awaiting payment.
• Members above the entry tier earn at a multiplier. The multiplier applied is the one for the tier you held when the order was placed.

Tiers and the member discount

Your tier is set by your lifetime spend with us, measured on the same basis as points above, and is recalculated automatically as that figure changes. The tiers currently in force are Bronze from $0, Silver from $250 (1% discount), Gold from $500 (2% discount) and Platinum from $1,000 (3% discount). All tiers currently earn points at the same base rate.

Where your tier carries a discount, it is applied automatically at checkout and no code is needed. It applies to the price of goods, not delivery, and it does not combine with a percentage-based promotional code – where you apply such a code, that code applies instead. Fixed-amount codes, including reward codes, can be used alongside the member discount. Because the discount reduces what you pay, it also reduces the points that order earns.

Gold and Platinum members' orders are prioritised for dispatch, and Platinum members' enquiries are prioritised for response. Both are aims for how we handle your order or message, not guarantees: they do not change our published dispatch and delivery estimates, do not apply where an order is held for stock, payment or address verification, and give no entitlement to a refund or compensation where an order or reply takes longer than you expected.

Tiers, their thresholds and their benefits are current settings, not promises for all time. We may change them under "Changes to the program" below.

Redeeming points

• Points convert at 100 points to $1, with a minimum redemption of 1,000 points ($10).
• Redeeming issues a single-use discount code tied to your account email address. It cannot be used by anyone else or on any other account.
• Points are deducted when the code is issued, not when it is used. If you do not use a code, the points are not returned automatically – contact us and we will look at it.
• Codes apply to the price of goods. They cannot be exchanged for cash, refunded, or applied to an order already placed.
• We do not currently expire points or reward codes. If we introduce expiry, we will tell you as set out below.

Purchases made before you had an account

We credit points for eligible purchases made before your account existed, where they were billed to the same email address you register with. This covers guest checkouts on this site and purchases from Base Peptides, our predecessor store. Crediting happens when the account is created.

• Matching is by email address only. If you used a different address, contact us and we will help.
• Earlier purchases are credited at the base rate of 5 points per $1, without tier multipliers, as no tier was held at the time.
• Crediting points does not give you access to the earlier orders themselves. Order history, addresses and invoices remain with the original order.
• Each purchase can be credited once. We may decline to credit a purchase we cannot verify.

Cancelled and refunded orders

• If we refund an order, you keep the points it earned. A refund does not reduce your lifetime spend and cannot demote your tier.
• If an order is cancelled or its payment fails, it never completed, and any points credited for it are reversed along with the spend behind it. This may change your tier.

Points are not money

Corrections

Every movement in your balance is recorded and visible on your rewards page. Where points have been credited or deducted in error – a technical fault, a duplicate credit, an order that was not what it appeared – we may correct the balance, and the correction appears in your activity. We will not reverse points you earned properly under these terms as they stood at the time. If you think your balance is wrong, contact us; raising it within 12 months of the order concerned helps us investigate properly.

Changes to the program

We may change these rewards terms, the earn rate, the redemption rate, the tier thresholds or the benefits attached to a tier. Because that affects a benefit you may be relying on, we limit how we do it:

• We will publish the change on this page and give at least 30 days' notice by email to members holding a points balance before any change that reduces the value of points, raises a tier threshold, or removes a benefit.
• Changes are not retrospective. Points already earned are earned at the rate in force when the order was placed, and remain redeemable.
• Where a change would reduce what your existing balance is worth, you may redeem that balance under the old rate during the notice period.
• Minor changes that do not disadvantage you – clarifications, corrections, new benefits – take effect on publication.

Ending the program or your membership

• If we end the program, we will give at least 30 days' notice to members holding a points balance, and you may redeem your balance during that period. Points not redeemed by the end of the notice period lapse and are not redeemable or refundable afterwards.
• You may leave the program at any time by contacting us, or by closing your account. Doing either forfeits any unredeemed points, so redeem them first.
• If you close an account and later open a new one, points from the closed account are not restored.
• We do not currently cancel points for inactivity. If we introduce that, we will tell you as set out above.

Misuse

We may suspend or close a member's participation, cancel points and void reward codes where we reasonably believe there has been fraud or an unauthorised payment method, multiple accounts held by one person to earn or redeem more than once, sale or public posting of reward codes, ordering and returning goods primarily to generate points, or exploitation of a fault in how points are calculated or credited. Where we act under this paragraph we will tell you what we have done and why, and you may ask us to reconsider.

Nothing in this section excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. See Section 17 below.

10. Product Storage and Handling

Proper storage of peptides is essential for maintaining product integrity. We recommend:

• Store lyophilized peptides at -20°C or below
• Keep products away from light and moisture
• Follow all handling instructions provided with your order

We are not responsible for product degradation resulting from improper storage or handling after delivery.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of PurposeLabs or our content suppliers and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on our website without our express written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• PurposeLabs provides products on an "as is" basis and makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding product fitness for any particular purpose.
• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our products or services.
• Our total liability for any claim arising from your purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific products giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PurposeLabs, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of our products
• Your breach of these Terms and Conditions
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Any misrepresentation regarding your research purposes or eligibility

14. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

15. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.

We encourage you to review these terms periodically for any updates.

16. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

17. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) or any other applicable consumer protection legislation that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
